After the Awakening.

Notes from a life lived in alignment — or at least trying to be.

Why You Feel More Confused After Your Awakening (Not Less)

You expected clarity.

Maybe not right away — you understood that awakening would shake things up. But somewhere in the back of your mind, you believed that once you woke up spiritually, things would start to make more sense. You’d feel more aligned. More purposeful. Like the pieces of your life would finally start falling into place.

Instead, you feel more confused than ever.

And if you’ve been sitting with that confusion — wondering if something went wrong, wondering why everyone else seems to be talking about peace and purpose while you’re still trying to figure out what just happened to your life — this is for you.

The Awakening Nobody Prepares You For

There’s a version of spiritual awakening that gets talked about a lot. The version where you discover crystals, start meditating, feel connected to something bigger, and life begins to feel more magical and meaningful.

That version is real. And it’s beautiful.

But there’s another version that doesn’t get nearly as much airtime. The version where you wake up and your entire life starts to feel like it was built on a foundation that no longer exists.

Your relationships feel different. Some feel suffocating. Others feel shallow in a way you can’t quite explain. The career you worked hard for feels hollow. The version of yourself you’ve been presenting to the world feels like a costume you can’t keep wearing.

And the hardest part? You can’t go back.

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. And that’s not a problem — that’s actually the point. But when nobody prepares you for this part, it can feel like you’re falling apart rather than waking up.

Why the Confusion Gets Worse Before It Gets Better

Here’s what most people do when the confusion hits: they search for answers.

More content. More healers. More readings. More programs. More podcasts at 2am trying to piece together what’s happening.

And for a while, each new thing brings a little relief. A framework that makes sense. A reading that feels accurate. A concept that clicks.

But then the confusion comes back. Often heavier than before.

This is one of the most frustrating and least talked about aspects of the post-awakening phase — and it’s not because you’re doing something wrong. It’s because information alone cannot integrate an awakening.

Your nervous system is recalibrating. Your identity is restructuring. Your energy field is literally shifting. And no amount of consuming more content is going to move that process along faster — in fact, it often slows it down.

When you’re in a constant state of seeking, you’re operating from the premise that the answer is somewhere outside of you. But awakening is fundamentally an internal process. The more you outsource it, the more disconnected you become from your own knowing.

The confusion isn’t a sign that you haven’t found the right answer yet.

It’s a sign that you’ve been looking in the wrong direction.

The Integration Gap Nobody Talks About

There’s a phase between awakening and actually living from that awakened place that I call the integration gap.

It’s the in-between.

Where you’ve outgrown who you were, but you haven’t yet fully stepped into who you’re becoming. Where you can see clearly what’s not aligned in your life, but you don’t yet know what to replace it with. Where you feel the pull toward something more — more authentic, more purposeful, more real — but the path forward isn’t obvious yet.

Most of the spiritual content out there is designed for one of two stages: the very beginning of awakening, or the place of established alignment and flow.

The messy middle? The integration gap? That’s where people get left alone.

And that’s exactly where the confusion lives.

I know this phase intimately. My own awakening didn’t arrive gently. It came through a brain injury, the end of my marriage, and a complete dismantling of the identity I had spent years building. I didn’t get to ease into it. I was dropped into the deep end and had to figure out how to swim.

I searched everywhere for support. I spent money I didn’t have. I found things that helped in pieces, but nothing that could hold the full picture — the spiritual reality AND the very human experience of having your life rearranged from the inside out.

I fumbled through years of that integration gap largely alone.

And I made it my work to make sure other people don’t have to.

What Actually Moves You Through

So if more searching doesn’t help, what does?

A few things that actually create movement in the integration phase:

Grounding what’s already happening. Not seeking new information, but actually sitting with and making sense of what’s already coming through. Your awakening is already giving you everything you need — the question is whether you’re pausing long enough to receive it.

Understanding your soul’s actual design. A huge source of post-awakening confusion is trying to build a new life using the same blueprint as the old one. When you understand how you’re actually designed — your gifts, your purpose, the specific way your energy works — a lot of the confusion dissolves. Not because you suddenly have all the answers, but because you stop trying to fit yourself into a shape that was never yours.

Having someone hold the container. Awakening is not meant to be a solo journey. Not because you can’t handle it, but because we are not designed to witness ourselves clearly from inside our own experience. Having someone who understands both the spiritual and the human dimensions of this process — who can reflect back what they’re seeing, help you interpret what’s happening, and guide you forward — changes everything.

Stopping the search and starting the integration. This is the hardest shift. It requires trusting that you already have enough. That the next answer isn’t in the next program or the next reading. That what you need now is to actually work with what you’ve already received.

You’re Not Behind. You’re Not Broken.

If you’ve been in this confused, in-between place for months — or years — I want you to hear this clearly:

Nothing went wrong.

You are not behind. You are not doing it wrong. You are not the one person for whom awakening just… doesn’t work out.

You are in one of the most significant transitions a human being can move through. And you’re doing it in a world that doesn’t have great language for it, in relationships that probably don’t understand it, without a roadmap.

The confusion is not evidence of failure.

It’s evidence of how real and how deep this is.

If You’re Ready to Move Through It

I’ve created a small, intimate 4-week group experience called After the Awakening — specifically for this phase.

Not for people just beginning to open up. For people who are already awake and trying to figure out how to actually live from that place.

Over four weeks together, we’ll go into what’s actually happening during this phase of your journey, reconnect you to your soul’s design, address the patterns and energy dynamics that are keeping you stuck, and get you genuinely moving forward — with clarity, not just more information.

This is the support I wish I’d had.

After the Awakening starts April 27th. Early bird pricing of $111 is available until April 17th, after which it moves to $222. Space is intentionally small.
